Trying to meet a quota. They feel it isn't fair if equal number of women and minorities are not represented. Does not mater qualifications. Should apply same standards to sports and the UNCF. Give everyone a Chance.
Basically they are promoting non-discriminatory hiring or at least giving the impression that they are. And just a little side note, when applying for a job, the question about your race is an optional one. Well, anyone who is not a minority or woman. The federal laws encourage this type of discrimination in the workplace. Our socialist government is doing a good job don't you think?

HAHA! I've seen that, too! I had an employer before who would only hire black %26amp; white women, but no men. He said he was being "equal opportunity". BS!
I've always wondered why they do that too? And why they ask on the application "Hispanic?"



That's segregation.
Encouraging one group does not exclude anyone.
Go apply. Whitey is the minority now.
They are trying to encourage applications from underrepresented groups. That's all.
