Today me and my boyfriend witnesed a 59 year old man approach two girls (aged 12/13) he did not know on the bus and started talking to them. He was drunk and telling them he wanted them and trying to ask where they would be getting off the bus and repeatedly stating where he was getting off the bus. The two girls reported this to the bus driver as they got off, but nothing happened. As they left the bus he was shouting at them that he loved them.
Are there laws in the UK that can protect children in situations like this? I think the most disturbing part was that he told them he wanted them when he was almost 60 (he told them his age) and they were not even teens. We were really disturbed by this and wonder if reporting this would be worthwhile?What is the law in the UK on paedophiles?
You can try to get the bus driver,to swear as a witness,other wise the cops won't do a thing until there is a rape,then they'll think about it.What is the law in the UK on paedophiles?
