Can my mom place me in juvenile hall for talking back? And other q's too?

My mom always said she'll put me in juvi after our arguments i was wondering can she really place me in juvenile hall just for that? i have not laid my hands on her unless defending myself from her. She kicked me out once then as i left she went to my friends house and said i had run away. Can she do that? i am 14 yrs old. She slaps me around pulls my hair and also verbally abuses me she also physically abuses me but im not sure if its counted as so.if she calls the police and say i am out of control what will they do when they get to my house? will i get a say? what is the law of abuse ? what can they do as far as punishments to a child?Can my mom place me in juvenile hall for talking back? OK, first off you cant go to Juvenal Hall for talking back. Next you will get a say if she presses charges on you, because they have to give a trial. Also, you need to call CPS (child protective services) because that is ABUSE and it is ILLEGAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why don't you just stop talking back?? It's hard to do but it is the respectful thing to do.

And I don't think they can actually put you in juvi for talking back, but if she is actually physically abusing you you can do something about that. Call the police and choose the option for the non-emergency line and ask them. They'll be able to point you in the right direction.Can my mom place me in juvenile hall for talking back? She can't put you in juvie - only the court can do that.

She can, however, turn you over to the state and put you in a foster home.

Don't you have a father, aunt/uncle/grandparent, teacher or someone you can talk to? If she truly is abusive she should lose her parental rights.
your mom cannot send you to juvi unless you break a law of the government. rules of her house are not laws. as long as you dont cuss at her, dont break anything, or cause a huge scene, she cannot do anything.



if you are 14 and she kicked you out of the house, that is child neglect. the only reason she called to report you a run away was so she wouldnt get in trouble.



but if you are 14 and your mom hits you, and pulls your hair, that is assault. she can be arrested. if i were you, i would get a hidden camera, and get something on tape. then you have evidence.



sounds like you are in a rough spot. i dont know if you are male or female, but around the time i turned 14 (i am male) the way i got my mom to quit hitting me was by smiling and laughing as she hit me, and told her she hit like a girl. eventually she realized it didnt hurt me and she stopped. i am now 30, and she still annoys the hell out of me, but neither of my parents have hit me in well over 15 years. i could have probably had my dad put in prison for how he treated me when i was young, but karma bit him in the *** with 3 heart attacks and hes really nice now
