Texas Law...I know that 17 is the age of concent, but my son is the 15 year old here. Just want to know our options regarding the law.What is the law concerning a 17 year old girl getting pregnant by a 15 year old boy?
Well i got pregnant at age 16 by a 16 year old and there was no problem. I mean the cops didn't come busting his door down or anything like that. If your son did this willingly then i don't see the point of pressing charges, make him get a job and take care of his baby. The most important thing is for him to feel like you are there for him even if you aren't try to be supportive. Good Luck! Remember he isn't the first young parent and he won't be the last plenty of people can do it so can your son.
if shes 17 and that's the age of consent were you live then shes the one in trouble not him.



i think the age of consent is full of bullshit. for the fact that it is different in every state. just because your 18 does not mean your grown up. and it depends if your gay or straight.



its full of holes. most likely she will go to jail. the baby will be taking away. and your son might loose his love and his baby. also the baby might grow up and never know his or hers parents.

Both of you are minors, technically both of you had sex with a minor, being each other. If the government considers a teen who posts nude pictures of herself on myspace a sex-offender, they're probably not going to go easy on someone who had sex with a minor.

Sorry but there was no law breaking here. Yeah 17 is the age of consent but that doesn't mean that the 17 year old can't have sex with younger people. When she's 18 then she's in trouble.
well i know that if you are 16 and you have sex with a 15 year old, then you can get into some serous trouble.
Just because she got pregnant, she still committed Statutory Rape. Your son didn't break the law.
16 is the age of consent. If you choose to press charges, your son's girlfriend can get charge with rape.
